About the aimst journal of tamil studies

Tamil Peroli – AIMST Journal of Tamil Studies and Research (AJTSR) is the official journal of the AIMST Centre for Indian Culture and Tamil Civilization, AIMST University, Malaysia. It is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary e-journal dedicated to publishing original, research-based works on Tamil language, literature, culture, history, philosophy, arts, society, and related areas of Indian civilization.

With its open and inclusive scope, Tamil Peroli (AJTSR) welcomes contributions that illuminate both the classical depth and contemporary relevance of Tamil and Indian heritage. All submissions are processed under a rigorous double-blind peer review system to ensure academic excellence, integrity, and credibility.

Our biannual publication

The journal is published biannually, in July and December, reflecting AIMST University’s vision to create a scholarly bridge that connects global researchers, academicians, and practitioners in advancing Tamil and Indian knowledge traditions.
